  •  I dunno. I enjoy seeing the immediate reactions (19+ / 0-)

to things, good or bad, to see whether they were affected similarly to me and noticed the same things I did in watching. I know where the politics are for Rachel, Ed, Chris Matthews, Al Sharpton, and Lawrence O, and can take that into account when watching their coverage. Even so, I've never known their coverage to be deliberately unfair to the opposition.  Their RNC coverage was also good, even though their channel lineups' politics leans firmly in the other direction.

    •  It's just not something that interests me (6+ / 0-)

anymore.  I used to enjoy it, but now all it does is raise my blood pressure. I watched maybe a half hour of cnn coverage (no msnbc on my cable system) after the night was over last night and considered it a waste of time. I really don't care what the pretend opinion makers think. I'm far more interested in what the actual opinion makers say at the podium.

Also, in the comments here, I discovered that the pundits were talking over what the speakers were saying.  That's just a travesty.  The likes of Village pundits making themselves the story rather than the actual speakers is just stupid. I understand your point about immediate reactions, but talking over speakers?  Just ridiculous.

A learning experience is one of those things that says, 'You know that thing you just did? Don't do that.' Douglas Adams
