The diary starts off by wondering why R-Money isn't being more agressive in WI, since the public polling indicates that the race is a toss-up.  From there, it speculates that maybe R-Money has some super-secret internal polling that indicates WI is actually a lost cause, and he is giving up.  Seems plausible.

    But then, this:

In case you were wondering, the Obama team hasn't felt the need to put any money into Wisconsin either. Clearly, they're feeling good about their chances in the state. However, Obama's Super PAC Priorities USA is reportedly going in. It seems stupid for the Romney team to stay out.
So the GOP is pulling out because they are losing, but the Obama team is pulling out because their super-secret polling indicates that they are winning.

My bet is that the GOP figures that picking Ryan is getting them some free airtime in WI, and they are spending money elsewhere for now.
