    by FAR the strongest correlate with all of those outcomes is poverty. And we're supposed to be the party that doesn't blame the poor for their misfortune.

      I don't think many are upset with the South for being in such dire poverty.  In fact, many I know that help others have come from the scary edge of having nothing themselves.

      I don't think anyone blames the South for being poor.  They blame it for being a cauldron of hate.

      Many I know, including my family, think what is sinking the South and sullying it in the eyes of even the most die hard activist is the level of hate and racism.

        We DON'T blame the poor for "being poor." We DO blame them for embracing right-wing policies and politicians who would make their lives even worse because they mouth a few pieties.

        Take the "Can't(or)" out of Congress. Support E. Wayne Powell in Va-07.
