  •  it's easy for Republicans to get "soft" Democrats (14+ / 0-)

disgruntled and confused...after all...with people like Romney promising people that everything will be 100% better starting on day one of his administration, thanks to more tax cuts for the rich, less government interference in your life and more employment, well...why wouldn't anyone want that, in the face of lingering high unemployment and fewer job and career opportunities?

Of course, the Republicans won't tell the whole story, but for many Democrats on the lower rung of the economic ladder, it's easy for Republicans to simply feed into their cynicism.

Not only is it one of the Republican Party's key objectives this year to disenfranchise as many Democratic voters as possible, but it is obvious that part of their strategy is to turn up the cynicism among soft Democrats to get them to simply not turn out.

Thank you for doing your part to help us all to try to combat this, with simple, basic reasoning, logic, and, most importantly of all, a willingness to engage those who don't see things exactly the same we do.
