    who sell to people who can buy stuff, likely Romney voters. The poor and underwater middle class don't buy the sponsors' products, so MSM does not talk to or for them. The Romney brand is protected in the content and is protected from head to head competition or unsettling news about the brand. Challengers to Bush were viewed as Pepsi against Coke, a matter of personal preference. The Dems only get the Convention and debates to introduce new disturbing content about the MSM spokesmodel and compete for the upscale market.
