    Though it would not end workers' comp, since there is still the disability component.  Only 6 states have their own temporary disability plans.  

    It would certainly cut down on the ambiguous claims where the employee is in pain but cannot quite figure out how and where it began (extremely common).  And the one I think is the major type of employee fraud, where they have a real injury that did not happen at work, but no personal medical insurance, so they file as WC.

     I would hope it would also help people in backward thinking places like Alabama, where our employee who was held up at gunpoint on the job twice (and they stole her car and purse) could not get any treatment for her anxiety, since that is not covered in that state without a physical injury component.
