    This is a pretty harsh accusation.

    But even if it is true, you must admit that public schools also do "rigging". Difficult children are "counseled into" charter schools or are given IEPs that designate them as problems. That stuff will always happen.

    I really wish that Traditional Educators would stop pretending that they don't understand what makes Charters popular. It is not the cafeteria and the gym.

    Parents like Charters because these schools are focused on making it easier to be a parent. There is more homework, so I don't have to spend as much time hunting "enrichment" activities.

    The hours are longer, so I can keep my job.

    The staff is more responsive if I have a problem.

    I was allowed to choose the charter, so even if it is not as good as the public school, the fact that we were trusted with a choice makes us feel respected.
