    that might be doable for us if Upstate New York goes very solidly for Obama, as DCCyclone suggested the other day.

      I don't have as much money to spend as I had in 2006-2008 cycles (thanks so much, Wall street bankers, for the collapse of the economy) but Maloney has my backing.

      I'd like to see this promising relatively young (b.1966) progressive resume prospering after the Cuomo machine obliterated him in 2006 when he ran for state attorney general.

      ...if there's a credible recent poll that said she's up 9, I don't hesitate to walk it back.

      This seat isn't "very" upstate, either, it's the Hudson Valley not too far from NYC.  So its culture might be different, i.e., more suburban/exurban, from "true" upstate which is small cities and countryside.
