paying attention"  I'm still po'd at certain failings of the current politicians.

"If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention."
There's still MUCH to be outraged about:  Unconstitutional and illegal wars going on; military personnel are still in the Mideast and need to be brought home, here on American soil; detainees still at Gitmo (and who knows where else - and did torture really stop?); illegal drone bombing; we still don't have our Constitutional rights back, and the Patriot Act, MCA '06 (and the additional MCA 09), and FISA fiasco '08 (and the recent extension) need to be repealed in their entirety and our rights given back to us; the unconstitutional 'office of faith-based initiatives' that Dumbya created with an executive order needs to be disbanded with a counter-executive order; we need single-payer Medicare for all (think of the jobs that can be created here in the US by adding personnel to handle the paperwork - the system already works efficiently but it can be added to), not this corporate insurance we're forced (by law) to pay so insurance, medical, and pharmaceutical corporations can rake in record profits (like oil and mercenary corporations still do); Citizens United needs to be overturned or made illegal by an act of Congress (Bernie Sanders has all the info on that)....

The list goes on and on and on....

I'm sick of attempts to steer this nation from principles evolved in The Age of Reason to hallucinations derived from illiterate herdsmen. ~ Crashing Vor

He'd certainly have something to say to all the repubs in Congress not doing their jobs; getting paid to sit there and say "no, no no".

they also pass anti-abortion bills, none of which will go anywhere, thankfully.
Why is it again that we pay these people?
