  •  Here is another letter from... (10+ / 0-)

...a Libyan named Abdelkader Almanfi Aljazwi that my daughter alerted me to:

We all Libyan Citizens condemn and denounce the Barbaric attack on the US consulate in Benghazi Yesterday, Libyan people in general and Benghazi residents specifically will never forget the countries and people who stood beside us during tough times of our revolution against the dictator.

During the early days of the Libyans' fight to overthrow Gadhafi, Christopher Stevens was one of those brave men who was in Benghazi and helped Libyans gain their freedom, He took a ride on a Greek cargo ship and sailed into the revolution's stronghold city of Benghazi, he arrived at a time when the crackle of gunfire could be heard each night.

What happened from these violent groups is totally unacceptable and should never be justified under any circumstances, they never represent Libya nor Islam, true Islam is the religion of peace and tolerance and never encourage violence.

We all demand the Libyan government to take the necessary steps to bring these aggressors to justice and protect every citizen on the Libyan soil ....

    R.I.P Stevens

Don't tell me what you believe, show me what you do and I will tell you what you believe.
