  •  Yes, that is overdue. Sharpening and localizing (8+ / 0-)

her message from here on out is critical. Anything less is rightly perceived by Massachusetts voters as a rude assumption that they should be taken for granted as sure Democratic voters -- the same mistake Coakley made.

That's the reason Scott Brown won, not any reddening of the state.

they're not fucking idiots. Which yeah, big mistake.

I know the exact guys who'd rather vote for Brown than Warren, even though she'll actually make their lives better.

I did some carpentry in MA, and I'm not sure if this is national or not, but if you're describing a tiny measurement, just a smidge to the left, the term was 'cunthair.' A cunthair to the left.

Would Scott Brown say 'cunthair?' Yes. Would Elizabeth Warren? No.

That's the electoral issue she's facing.

    •  Special Election in 2010 was during a blizzard (5+ / 0-)

I live on the North Shore and we had over a foot of snow the day of the Special Election (Jan. 19). Low turnout, the worst Democratic statewide candidate since Shannon O'Brien, and the fact that Brown had an army of out of work Teabaggers come into the state and campaign. Not this time, and w/ Barack Obama on the top of the ticket, she should win.

Lots of people just assumed that Deval Patrick wouldn't win. Well he had a kick-ass GOTV effort. No reason the same people won't come out in November.

    •  And Brown's a good campaigner. His line "it's the (4+ / 0-)
