    It is still misleading, and your answer has be wondering if you understand the data.

    If you plot the data with uniform cohorts (50K) (and the obvious problem with the catchall) you'll see that 50% of all households earned less than $50K, 80% earned less than 100K. Pretty obvious where "middle income" is.

    Rmoney's (R-OuttaTouch) problem is that he points to the 1.9% of households and thinks they're some how in the "middle."

    The troubling columns should be SMALL not BIG. Now if you look at all income, then the big lines for 200-250K and 250K+ are a problem.
