  •  AnnieJo, perhaps post this video in ... (9+ / 0-)

...its own diary tomorrow morning so it gets more eyes.

I feel physically ill having watched the video and seeing how long the capitol police delayed getting medical help for this woman, when she was clearly ill and after learning she had a heart condition.  The videographer calling out the elapsed minutes is going to haunt me for a long time.

Thank you for the link, AnnieJo.

Yes, I agree this video needs it's own diary!

JoF, don't know if you have any medical training, but every minute counts when giving nitro (I'm pretty sure it was nitro they were giving her) and then giving 2nd dose if pt doesn't get relief from first response: that's even more serious. Can go downhill fast after that. Med sheets are very precise on this.

That's the part that was making me panic as I watched the video. That and the fact that they kept her handcuffed & slumped against the wall. They should have been trying to make her as comfortable as possible. Most likely she was in pain, & the uncomfortable position didn't help, to say the least.

This is an extremely distressing video. And needs to be seen. They are bent on suppressing free speech and looks like they are willing to put WI citizens in danger to do so. Even our Vets.

Take one tablet or spray dose. If after 5 minutes the chest pain is not better or gets worse, call911or other emergency services immediately.

      •  Confirmed it was nitro. (5+ / 0-)

In the video in AnnieJo's diary posted today (, one of the witnesses said the medication the cop gave her was  nitroglycerine and the witness was tracking the dosing times.  If memory isn't failing me (I don't have it in me to watch the unedited version again) the cops had evidence that thsi was a person with a heart condition (her nitro) and that she was in medical distress, and they still kept the damn handcuffs on.
