  •  There's an ad running on at least one (7+ / 0-)

of the two black radio stations in Cleveland. It could be running on both stations but I don't listen to the "younger" one (107.9), I listen to the one that plays more oldies (93.1 WZAK).

The ad has the right tone. It mentions that there are forces at work trying to take our vote away, a vote that was fought and died for. The ad mentions that this historic election could change the course of our lives and we had to be determined not to let "them" win. In other words, even if you've never voted before, now's the time to register and pushback against this effort.

It lifted my heart to hear this ad played several times at different times of the day on black radio. Even people who aren't into politics are hearing that.

Thanks, WeeMama for the update about Iowa. It's so heartening to see these cases being overturned across the country. Hopefully PA will come around.
