by the exit polls, nothing to see, move along...the corporate media just doesn't report exit polls any longer, because they DO show evidence tampering.

    •  Yep, in 2000 the (3+ / 0-)

media pooled their money to use Edison-Mitofsky as their exit poll source.

On election night screen shots show that their was a huge inexplicable correction of the exit poll results to make it show a Bush win.

Statisticians cried foul and asked for the raw data to support this crazy turn of events, but Edison-Mitofsky--despite providing a "scientifically verifiable statistics model" did the unthinkable in any scientific endeavor--they refused to share the raw data.

In the meantime, the mega-corporation owned MSM started to call anyone who questioned the results "tin foil hatters."  The people continued to try to count the vote in Florida were also crazy.

Next there was the Bush vs. Gore Supreme Court ruling that even the Supreme Court said should not set a precedent.

This all adds up to a coup d'tat!

      So can this happen again?

      Of course!!!

      •  IIRC, that happened in 2004 as well (1+ / 0-)

Early exit poll results showed a Kerry win.  Then the results were inexplicably revised to show a Dubya win.

Later, it was revealed that those polls were not yet corrected with actual vote tallies.  So by 2004 the exit polls were no longer a valid test of the election integrity, since they used the reported results to "correct" the data.  And few people seem troubled that exit polling needs to be "corrected" with the reported election results!

The nonchalance with which any voting irregularities are swept away is really disturbing.  Yet, somehow, individual voter fraud deserves national attention and is not so readily dismissed by the same corporate media.

the Carter Commission that oversees elections overseas (under the former President Jimmy Carter that is above reproach) would not oversee our elections in the U.S. because we do not meet their MINIMUM standards of election hygiene, whereas countries like El Salvador do!

Tea Party followers wrap yourself in the flag with that little tidbit!

    •  Exit Polliing is a point to be pushed right NOW (0+ / 0-)

      with the press. NOW.

Calls to the network and wire ELECTION DESKS now, while they are planning.

They need to understand that their readers and viewers are ON to this. Exit polling MUST be done, and MUST be REPORTED.

Okay, the Government says you MUST abort your child. NOW do you get it?
