  •  Diebold machines weren't used in Ohio in 2004 (0+ / 0-)

    And this is sort of how the first few rounds of the Great Fraud Wars went, too.

    •  I don't know (0+ / 0-)

      which "Great Fraud War" you're fighting in mark but in OHIO in 2004, 35 counties used diebold voting machines.  Ours was one of them. Please do a little research before you post here and attempt to discredit folks.

      Here is one of the many links concerning this;

      •  which 35? (0+ / 0-)

        I'll settle for any 12.

        Yes, I see that you read it on the internet, but unfortunately, you can't trust everything you read on the internet.

      •  oh, I think I understand how he got this wrong (0+ / 0-)

        In late 2003 and early 2004, Ohio was moving full speed ahead on using HAVA money to switch over to electronic voting, and by early 2004, counties had chosen their preferred vendors. I think it's right that 35 of them chose Diebold. Then implementation was delayed for various reasons, including a new Ohio law requiring paper records.

        According to Verified Voting, Lucas County and one other county used Diebold scanners in that election. There was nothing unusual about the vote shares in those counties, and they weren't big enough to swing the results.
