    And how the VA assesses it?  What degree of disability do they ascribe to it?  How does it impact somebody?  How does it limit them employment-wise?  I'm curious.

      is caused by loud extreme noise such as bombs, explosions, gun fire, aircraft take offs ect. Acoustic Trauma is severe hearing loss and is tested as such. It impacts you socially and on how you function. You cannot hear and that causes safety issues. If you have to deal with customers or other employees it would make it hard for you to communicate and understand things.
