however the key thing is that Bibi is Running for Re-Election and that this must be factored when understanding what he does.  Will this make him do crazy things?  Does he have incentive to sabotague Obama in terms of his re election?

BTW, I didn't mean to say I agreed with the quote in the piece of him NOT attacking Iran.  Was just quoting the article.

    Thanks.

It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything. ~~Joseph Stalin

up the elections since he has been railing against the MB taking over in Egypt and Libya.  The chaos of the last couple of days cannot be reassuring to his electorate (since it appears he considers Iran to be the chief mischief maker in the region).
He has been straddling the issue in Syria. On one hand to have Assad and his pro-Iranian regime ousted could be helpful to continue Israeli hegemony but on the other hand, if Assad's fall means the ascension of the MB or a more radical group (I am using Bibi's assumption that the MB is a radical group here) which would be to Bibi's detriment.

Early elections are best for him before more events have time to shake themselves out
