...that there are better Republicans who could have been nominated.  I asked her to name one.  I'm still waiting.

A society is judged by how well it cares for those in the dawn of life, the children. By how well it cares for those in the twilight of life, the elderly. And, by how well it cares for those on the edge of life; the poor, the sick, and the disabled.

    •  John Huntsman? I'm not your wife, however, (0+ / 0-)

Mr. Huntsman seems to be the only sane one, who still identifies himself as a republican.

    •  The SMART Republicans all took a pass because ... (0+ / 0-)

they know the economy is still not out of the woods, and if they won, and the economy cratered, they personally and the Republican Party would be toast.

Obama is "in the soup" so he needs to work hard to pull the economy up (and I think he is seriously trying to do that, but he has had two problems -- being too gullible or naive in thinking that he could "work with" Republicans in 2009-2010, and he had no idea that the economy would crater in late 2008, after he was the democratic nominee, and this issue would be his problem).

Only R-MONEY (and the seven dwarfs) wanted this "opportunity."

We just need to do our best to make sure R-MONEY stays unemployed.
