CO 6 is Trancredo's old district, but redistricting, including more of Aurora's Latino population, has moved district in a Democratic direction.  Charlie Cook now has CO 6 as a tossup.  Certainly, this is the best pickup possibility for Dems in CO.

And here is where your $25.00 contribution can make a real difference.  As a CO 6 Democrat, I'm donating to two campaigns this year: Obama and Mikloski.

redistricting changed me to Ed Perlmutter's district) and I've been dismayed to see the Coffman ads unchallenged on TV.  His is a good, warm folksy ad about the Colorado politician who was willing to step down from office to go serve the Army in Iraq, twice.  Nothing at all about his support of the war on women, nothing at all about his tax cut support, nothing about his supporting the idea of looking further into Obama's birth certificate earlier this year.  I really do hope the DCCC and the Miklosi campaign can get this ad onto the airwaves and change Coffman from the smiling friend into the snarling spiteful Republican he's shown he can be when he's surrounded only by his friends.

I have given money to a lot of races around the country, but none moreso than to Obama #1 and Miklosi #2.

    •  Seems like a good ad (0+ / 0-)

I actually live in a district.  Used to be a chunk of Perlmutter's district, and they have also added a chunk which used to be DeGette's district, so it is probably much more blue that Coffman is used to.

I have seen Coffman's fluff commercials on TV, nut nothing from Miklosi.  Running this ad should be a good start.

I have not seen any polling on the district.  Is it on any national pickup opportunity lists?
