    ...the Cap and Trade bill intended to provide market incentives to reduce greenhouse emissions, with 211 Dems voting in favor, plus 8 Republicans.  

    But it died in the Senate where there was not a supermajority for cloture, after a massive pushback from the fossil fool industry, claiming that the system would raise costs to consumers.

    After the Senate defeat, there has been a deafening silence from most Dems, afraid that the alleged costs to consumers make the issue too hot to touch.

    It is up to us to convince them that the public is now noticing that the cost of inaction is VASTLY greater.

    There's no such thing as a free market!
