the thing that hit me most was how different the MESSENGER is when he's telling the "truth" - HIS "truth". That's his real voice. That's how his real voice sounds when he's taking over the world in his "quiet rooms."

The slow, strained, odd cadence of Campaign MittBot is what comes out when he's censoring his ugly callousness and trying to convey concern, kindness and a pleasant demeanor.

This isn't big news. We knew he was being phony. I just didn't know how fast and smoothly he spits out his hateful, mean, classist bigotry.

I know President Obama will continue to behave presidential in tone during the debates, but, wow, I fantasize about him asking Mitt to stop trying to affect a mild-mannered, avuncular businessman persona and just spit out his true Gordon Geckoness while he begs for votes.

I notice it too, the awkwardness, the stiff, wooden persona is gone, replaced by a self confident, self assured personality. That Onion piece that had Mitt yelling at workers in a factory, even though it was satire, does not seem too far off the mark anymore.

Where are all the jobs, Boehner?
