    Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, California, New Mexico, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and DC: 44% of the country.  I'm sure we could carefully trim out the next 3%.

    These are, of course, the states that Romney seems to have effectively conceded already, with 237 electoral votes.  And judging from the GOP's governance under Bush, I think it's reasonable to assume they won't give a shit about most of those states' voters if he does win.
