....that you wasted your time by making America less Democratic. I was for Kerry in 2004, but restricting ballot access to just major parties is a douche move and undemocratic besides. I mean, let's be honest here. The Democrats leave a lot to be desired if you're a progressive. Don't get me wrong, I'm voting for them, but let's not fool ourselves.

Protesting someone who runs for president just to stroke their massive ego is one of the most patriotic things I can think of.

The guy hasn't done anything for the progressive movement since the 80s. He sure has made a lot of money off the progressive movement though.

I'm totally for minor parties having ballot access. I am totally against the top two primaries in WA where I use to live.

What I am against, however, is egomaniac individuals getting on the ballot just because they are famous.

If Nader ever wanted to be elected he should of done what everyone else does -- start smaller. Run for state leg, hell even run for House of Reps. But he had no intention of ever being elected to anything.

He just likes to sell books and make $.

....any ballot requirements for running for President, other than what appears in the Constitution. Nader had the absolute right to do what he did and if people voted for him, that wasn't a "theft" of anyone's vote. It's people who weren't going to vote for Kerry in any case who supported Nader in 2004. Your time would have been better spent trying to improve Kerry's image or campaigning against Bush.
