is that I not-ask people to rally to push the President away from this Executive Order that kills free speech?  I already did that, and signed every petition begging him to stop.

If he was "too busy" to notice he added language, then he is not nearly as smart as I give him credit for being.

If you oppose the policy, argue against the policy. Don't advocate here on Daily Kos 49 days from election day for others on Daily Kos to withhold their votes from President Obama.
actually explains why your tip jar would be hiderateable on this particular site. I don't like the "off to Redstate with ye" shit, but with this statement I strongly agree.

I said threaten him with it, to make him do what his base wills.

Remember the old canard pushed here so frequently "I know what I want to do, now make me?"

I didn't say "don't vote for him"  I said, " Then you should be barraging the man, and holding your vote hostage that he let NDAA go."  That means threaten him with it.

You people are deliberately misreading me.  Its just as reactionary as the anti-gun people did in the diary of mine you supported, kestrel.

It is not hide worthy, and you all should be good enough readers, and adult enough to interpret it as written.

you're saying don't vote for him if he doesn't do the exact thing you want right now. No one's misreading you, deliberately or otherwise.

In the end, it would be an empty threat, but if you thought your one email challenging him to do it or lose your vote would make him give up pursuing NDAA and its provisions for jailing journalists and indefinite detention without charge?  Would you send that email Kestrel?

I think you would.  You'd vote for him either way, but why not use the weight of challenge to push him?

Either way, this essasy is not troll worthy, and his comment is by accusing me of being red state.

We are friends.  Lets agree to disagree here.

          •  Oh, nonsense. (6+ / 0-)

She said "hold your vote hostage".

If its ambiguous whether that means threaten to withhold your vote and/or other acts of support, or to in fact withhold your vote or other acts of support ...

... she clarified which it meant.

At which point claiming the opposite is quite clearly lying about what she said.
