I found Warren's speech incredibly snooze inducing. I could barely pay attention to what she was saying. Her delivery just seemed so flat and unemotional. Given the polling in her race, I expected this to be the last time we would ever hear of Warren on the national stage.

The recent surge in the polls has really surprised me. The only thing I can figure is that that surge may be a sign of a general "return to Jesus" moment for a lot of Democrats. They toyed with giving Republicans a chance for a couple of years (starting with the election of Brown through to the 2010 House races). They weren't all that happy with Obama and their perceptions of his failures.

But the last couple of months have opened a lot of their eyes and they are starting to think that maybe sticking with the Democrats really is their best bet. Naturally, this holds in Mass. as well as nation wide. So, a lot of this surge for Warren may simply be Democrats who have decided to return to the Democratic party.
