from the State's rights and mark of the devil folk who fought REAL ID tooth and nail in many states but now happily support turning that very law into a pre-requisite to a citizens excercising the most fundamental of constitutionally guaranteed rights.

Is the fact that it will disadvantage vulnerable groups (as the PA Supreme Court decision acknowledged) something beyond the abilityof the 1% to see and act upon?  Is it beyond the vision of the long-game view of the GOP, especially when faced with both the demographic changes and issue-orientation of the millenials that sound the death knell for the current brand of Republicanism?

Ever since the administration of George W Bush, I've retired the word "inconceivable" from by political vocabulary.
