  •  Seems a stretch to me. (3+ / 0-)

I may contribute anyway. It is an open seat, after all.

My own precinct used to be in Brad Miller's district. It's now gerrymanered into Renee Ellesmer's district. Groan!

Our tiny but real chance of retaking the House requires us to stretch. Sleeper races like this may be our best shot.

      I'm in.

What Rucho and Dollar did with our districts is an absolute disgrace.

Don't forget how hard they worked ramming the Voter Suppression Law through, and how it is only because of Governor Beverly Perdue's courageous and honorable veto that, at least, all eligible voters will be able to vote on November 6.

Unfortunately, if McCrory wins the governor's seat, which most polls indicate will happen, the Teabag legislature has promised that it will make implementing the new Voter ID Jim Crow voting laws their first priority for 2013, and McCrory will rubber-stamp that garbage so fast he'll risk breaking his already-crooked wrist.
