    I don't see much happening by your count.

    Ginsberg is one of ours. Replacing her with a younger healthier Obama appointee will extend into the future that vote on our side, but we gain nothing.

    Likewise Breyer.

    Kennedy has been the swing vote. It could help to have him replaced by a more solid vote on our side. But you know, Obama's appointees have been moderate centrists, not meant to add weight to the left.

    Getting rid of Scalia or ANY of their votes -- for health or terminal ugliness or ethical lapses or whatever -- that could make a change. But it is not likely to happen in the next four years. You have surely noticed that Justices enjoy their jobs, and tend to hold on to them to a very ripe age.

      that the rot and acidity in Scalias' viscera, do him in.
      Or maybe Thomas gets hit by a bus.

        His wife is on the take from parties before the Court, and when he filled out the ethics forms, he "forgot" to include her payments.
