  •  That's it...Ed went to college but he isn't a wonk (13+ / 0-)

he played college ball. He was a football commentator, a lot of people can relate to him. He also fishes, it's important that people see we liberals also hunt and fish. You know a lot of guys at the club look at me when I tell them I'm a liberal, but they stop and listen because I got outdoorsmen type cred....even used to write a weekly outdoor column that was widely read.....I was like a man in the wilderness in the Dukaikis colleagues in the local outdoor press actually got to interview Bush 1 in 88....the best I could do was Jesse Jackson walking along the beach with a dead bluefish....but I got pictures!

    •  Mitt Romney likes to fish too (4+ / 0-)

I understand he once reeled in a 2 ounce sardine. He had Ann gut, clean and cook it, but Seamus got to it first and as punishment he had to sleep in the stables with the dancing horses. This was before carroofgate.

in a VW bug, you know that you MUST put luggage on the roof.  Also, in the "trunk" in front, though only a tiny nylon tent and other tidbits fit there.  Heck, a normal-sized cooler takes up the whole back seat!  ;-)   Of course, we didn't take the dog along....
