    She brings intelligence, wit, passion & a diverse group of guests who speak about issues not addressed enough [sometimes not addressed at all] on television.

    Seeing a group of young African-American men discuss 'stop & frisk' incidents in their life was amazing. More amazing to me was that I'd never seen that happen before on any show.

    Discussing Mormonism she had... Mormons - who were engaged in a conversation with her, whose mother became an ex-Mormon - everyone was respectful, but actual debate was had.

    She discussed African-American women's hair. Sound unimportant? I've worked in places that do not ALLOW natural hair because they demand a professional [read controlled, i.e. flat-ironed or permed] 'look'.

    She handles topics not seen on other shows, but which effect a great deal of people who are under-represented. Also, her commentary on the 'news of the day' is insightful & concise.
