    They would be paying them to be political window dressing or paying them to endorse a candidate. This is for Romney a no win argument.

      would be to allow the event but either only shutdown for a short while or remain operational and allow attendance without pay if desired.  Problem might have been then few would show up but maybe if it was limited in time - some folks would.
