    They learn this aberrant behavior from their families and social milieu, as do child abusers.  Gay is a matter of genetics, I believe, and reflects a trait or traits that have been, and may still be, beneficial to human survival and development.

    It's a total insult to LBGT people to compare them in any manner to these sociopaths.  I've never met a gay person who was a "heartless, soulless, ethics-lacking limpublican," though I must confess I've never met one who belonged to the 1%.

    No, this is learned behavior.  These people have been trained to think this way by their parents and their social class.

      Yeah, I'm having a lot of trouble wrapping my head around Konnie's comment, which seems to suggest that being LGBT is also a matter of -- to quote -- "defective genes".

      And the logic that concludes that because one set of behaviors is genetically encoded, then by definition another set must also be genetically encoded, escapes me.

      Konnie, if that's not what you were trying to say, now might be a good time to clarify.
