    even McGovern carried the state. More than that, though, I'd say a lot of our core policy ideas are broadly popular across the country when they're presented in a forthright manner. It's that truth that is coming home for Republicans this cycle, I think.

      The problem is not w/ the messenger, it's w/ the message.  Ryan could've given it just as easily, so could've just about anyone in this year's GOP presidential field.  Compared to the rest of that field, Mitt looks pretty good--in the land of the blind, the man w/ a seeing eye dog is king (even if the dog is on the car's roof).

      Rush, Sarah, Newt, Santorum--their views were expressed on the viral video.  Akin's views have a wide following in the party, too.  Thank God that these views are getting wide exposure this cycle.

      Some men see things as they are and ask why. I dream of things that never were and ask why not?
