next one-- or have you already?-- on the unemployment fiasco. He's running around saying what a great job he has done but figures show how distorted his statements have been because really, so many people here just stopped looking. Scott hates being asked questions on this subject also, especially after the Legislature's analysis showed that around 70% of the falling unemployment caused by: (1) people getting out of the workforce and (2) not by people getting jobs. Also:

17.3 in poverty in FL in 2011
FL median income dropped 2.9 percent in 2011
an analysis that attributed a large portion of Florida's falling unemployment - about 70 percent - to a reduction in the labor force and not to people getting back to work.
    Florida leads in long-term unemployment

A recent study by Florida International University reported that Florida led the nation in the number of long-term unemployed in 2011, with more than half of jobless workers still looking for work after six months compared to just under 44 percent nationwide.

Such economic dissonance spilled over earlier this week as Scott bristled when pressed on the numbers by reporters, cutting off a series of questions on the apparent disconnect between his message and the less encouraging economic indicators.

      I love my readers...

My next one has to be on the 3 supreme court justices that just got targeted by the GOP on Friday.  I will certainly do one on unemployment..

the issue is there is so much each week that these guys do wrong... and Rick in particular.  Two days ago it was going to be on someone he apparently hired to stuff ballots with absentee voing.   There is no shortage of crime, but I can only afford to write about 1 per week... sometimes 2.

I never even got around to Pam Bondi...

      •  That is for sure. Just reading about him, (0+ / 0-)

and he refused more federal funds than I realized. I only knew about the first and am just sick about the second two. Wow. I heard nothing about this on the Gainesville news (they are quite pathetic on state news).

~~$2.4 billion for high-speed rail projects

~~$31 million to prevent child abuse and infant mortality

~~$40 million that would move disabled children out of nursing homes and back with their families.
