    stollen from Knoxville, Tennessee office (or computer server farm?)

    Someone was asking a million ransom for them.

    Larry Flynt offered it.

    But story stopped there.

    I'm sure it would be a tort (if not a crime) to publish stolen tax records.

    But the amnesty thing may be a different issue. I'll find out.

      The last item I saw was PWC denying anything was stolen.

      Romney's tax return records were STOLEN??  Or is "stollen" some guy?  

      If they were stolen, I'd bet good money that the one trying to sell them got a visit from some guys in black suits & sunglasses who explained why it would be a bad idea.  There are stories going around about that happening to people from Bush's past who had troublesome information, probably the GOP or maybe just Rove has some of them on hand for extreme situations.
