  •  For conservatives, a lot rides on the debate (10+ / 0-)

but I think they all know that no matter how many well-rehearsed lines Romney delivers, the President will make a credible and persuasive argument for his governance and vision for the future which will in essence confirm the direction that American voters have been moving in for months now.  Obama has been ahead in this race for a reason:  people believe his story more than they believe in Romney.  Romney has not explained what he would do or how it would affect Americans and he is therefore too much of a risk to countenance.

    •  Of course, the president (5+ / 0-)

      knows how to speak extemporaneously.

Romney only knows how to give orders to the "help."

To make the argument that the media has a left- or right-wing, or a liberal or a conservative bias, is like asking if the problem with Al-Qaeda is do they use too much oil in their hummus. Al Franken

truly believe the President can't speak extemporaneously. They really believe that he is tied to his teleprompter and has cheese for brains. Now, you can disagree with someone's positions and they way they run the country, but not to recognize and acknowledge Obama's intelligence and ease of speaking? That's just racism.
