That's a nice effect, but the Obama campaign's objective is singularly to win.  They are investing in NH to hold the kerry-Gore states and ensure that the western firewall states are in effect  to ensure crossing that 270 threshold without having to rely on Ohio, Florida or Virginia -- all of which they are leading anyway.  It is all about ensuring multiple pathways to victory, and little NH with its 4 EVs (along with Iowa's 6) are crucial to ensuring those multiple pathways.

I vote Democratic because I am a woman with self-respect , who rejects bigotry of all kinds, subscribes to science, believes in universal health care, embraces unions, and endorses smart internationalist foreign policy.

I'll bet Al Gore wishes he'd done some media blitzes in New Hampshire in 2000.  He lost it by 7000 votes and Nader had 22,000.  If he'd won it, Florida would have been irrelevant.  Barack Obama can count.
