  •  Mittens, meet this guy named Mittens. (11+ / 0-)

As usual, Mitt Romney takes a position that is contrary to the position he previously took, and actually rationalized the first time, but can't rationalize now.

"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him:

-- Who are dependent upon government
-- Who believe that they are victims
-- Who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them
-- Who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it

That, that’s an entitlement, and the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what. . . . These are people who pay no income tax . . . my job is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."

23% = working poor and students with jobs
      7%  = working lower-middle with children
10% = retirees on Social Security
6%  = Physically disabled, mental health disabled, military disabled, vow-of-poverty nuns and monks with some income, many of the unemployed, and the less than 2% "dependent" on welfare (mainly women with kids)

Sadistic paranoia + Ignorance = Mitt Romney

The "47%" group are defined as having some income, but not paying Federal income tax. Not quite up to his standards.
