Definitely that's what's happening in many cases, but there is a real non-racist philosophy of government that it should minimize its interventions in the market.

Of course, in this case government is making the market more efficient (perfect information is part of the definition of a perfect market).

difference of political and economic philosophy.  What the diarist is describing is a man who liked labeling of food information until he discovered that Obama approved of it and put it in 'his' healthcare bill.  Then the man decided he was against it.  That is neither rational nor policy-driven.  It is derangement, and it's happening all over the country.  While every case might not be racially driven, much of the insane hatred of the President is (even if people don't recognize their own motivations).

"My dear friends, your vote is precious, almost sacred. It is the most powerful nonviolent tool we have to create a more perfect union." ---Representative John Lewis

...especially the ones who swear he's a "secret Muslim born in Kenya," if I grill them hard enough, sooner or later they'll break down and admit they're bigoted.  ("I always did have problems with the blacks..." was word-for-word how one woman actually put it.)

...being a bully was normal, average, status quo behavior for him. And no one remembers an average day.--kos
