  •  I'm curious what Brown's staff thought they (6+ / 0-)

    would achieve with this.

    1. People who are truly angry over Warren's statements about her background are highly unlikely to vote for her in any event, because it shows that the real issues confronting the voters are irrelevant to them. Watching a bunch of guys do a tomahawk chop is not going to clinch their decision.

    2. People who think that it's cool and admirable for a bunch of adult men to act like juvenile punks are not going to vote for Warren in any event.

    3. People who are truly undecided about Warren and Brown because of their stances on the issues are highly unlikely to be motivated to vote for Brown simply because a bunch of adult men act like middle-schoolers at a public event.

    4. Because of the nature of these actions, the most plausible affect, if any, on the Massachusetts electorate will be to piss off the Warren voters, which will only increase their movitation to vote, and to cement the perception in the minds of the truly undecided that Brown and his campaign supporters are assholes who don't care about the important issues.

    •  They were baiting the Warren supporters on the (0+ / 0-)

street.  They wanted a both sides do it headline.  They failed.

For the 'other side' The Boston news had to say that Warren mishandled an important case, which turned out fine.  I'm not familiar with the story line on that one.

would be his goal here primarily, hoping that he can turn off some "undecided" voters portraying her as an affirmative action hustler.

Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos in Connecticut that are owned by the Mashtucket Pequot and Mohegan Indian tribes.  Talk about hypocrisy.  They spend money at Indian casinos but then make anti-Indian gestures out on the street.  Sad, confused, racists.  That sums up the Republican Party.

    •  to arouse hate against them from you and other (0+ / 0-)

Warren supporters. They thrive the more you hate them. Makes them happy. They try to exhaust you psychologically and drive you yourself in hate-mode.
Then obviously they hope that in the hate mode you make a mistake they can build on to crush Warren even more.

I mean it's so mean that they only thing to do is to completely ignore them and just react with one good ad or statement by Warren herself.
