He knows this is bullshit but I guess, in a way, it's sort of fun to just be contrarian for contrarians' sake.

He's like a comment troll who always takes the "other side" of any issue just for the thrill of it.

For the record, I am not a member of Courtesy Kos. Just so you know. Don't be stupid. It's election season. My patience is short.

The conservative media wants to convince their followers that wingnut ideas are popular.

      He's telling them that.

He's not doing anything Rush, Fox, Coulter or any of the rest aren't doing.

      He's just more obvious.

Repubs started up the car, hit the throttle and sent it over the cliff, and now they're complaining that the black guy hasn't fixed it fast enough.

    •  I'm not sure Morris is just contrarian. (0+ / 0-)

I think he's really convinced himself of the worth and truth of his own lies and distortions.  But that's not to say he wouldn't argue the "other side" of any issue - especially if he were getting paid to do so and a lot of publicity was part of the deal.

"In this world of sin and sorrow there is always something to be thankful for; as for me, I rejoice that I am not a Republican." - H. L. Mencken
