      If you take one pollster, and look at what that pollster's estimates have been over the last couple of months, most of them are showing an increase for Obama, and a decrease for Romney (at least that's why my quick-and-dirty poke on Pollster seemed to show this morning - I'll try and do it more systematically at some point!0

      In other words, regardless of whether the pollster in question used a weighting that favored Obama or Romney, the change is going in Obama's direction.

      That tells you (or me anyway) that Romney is making a mess of his campaign (duh).  It's possible that his baseline is high enough that he still ends up ahead, but he certainly needs to stop dropping, and has nothing to congratulate himself on.  Even the polls are really "tied" as he thinks, then he's on a trajectory to lose, unless he reverses that decline.
