    If you have the business to hire more people your taxable income will be lower therefore your tax bill will be lower. Do these idiots believe that income is taxed before the bottom line amount?

      In fact, I'd bet that a fair number of business owners think the same thing.

        except when it comes to his taxes and Republican talking points...

        not a close enough friend to really get into political arguments with though....probably would be if it weren't for his politics...

        My boss whom is a Democrat still does not understand how taxable income works. Unfortunately for him he is single and only has enough write offs to meet the standard deduction. This year he is looking at a $40k tax bill which gives him heartburn. In order to manage taxable income you have to be willing to spend more which is not always the best approach either.
