    on your resume?  I stopped doing that LONG ago.  Made me look too bad.

    Of course, many companies make you fill out an application when you go for the initial interview.  I used to take the messiest black pen I could find, along with an extra copy of my resume, for that reason.  Then I'd start VERY slowly and laboriously filling out the parts of the form I didn't mind filling out--contact info, SSN, and so on.  When it was time to go in to someone's office for the interview, I'd jump up and say apologetically, "Oh, dear, I haven't finished filling out the application!  Look, here's an extra copy of my resume, could we just stick it inside and---?"

    The receptionist would always say, "Oh, sure,"and take the app and resume from me.  

    I hate chronological forms!
