  •  You should complain to the county election office (4+ / 0-)

    about her.

Someone like that has no business interfering with other people's right to vote!

Then, volunteer to be an election worker yourself.

    •  I tried to actually. (2+ / 0-)

I didn't get anywhere.  She's still there.  All the other poll workers pulled me aside at the end of the day and said "she's like that, we've been complaining for years, there's nothing anyone will do about it."

      •  That's very strange. (0+ / 0-)

If possible, maybe you should try again or try complaining to a person higher up in the Registrar's office or County Clerk's office or whoever is the administrator of elections in your area.

I remember a number of years back where one poll worker (can't remember if he was the Inspector) yelled at this young adult first time poll worker and had her in tears. I reported him on the phone number we were given to report election day problems and the area coordinator came out and he was shown the door. The whole thing took a couple of hours but it was worth it in the end.

Unless this person has some unknown "in" with the election's office, I can't imagine why they would keep her knowing she is driving other poll workers away AND is doing a poor job.
