  •  This was to shoot a flare up... (none)
to rev up the Talibaptists and Presbyqaedans constituencies. Brand Reid as one of those Mormon "others".

You know, the ones who wear funny underwear, send their children out to proselytize on bikes, and shot up a bunch of settlers headed west in cold blood during the Great Western Expansion?

    •  Presbyterian Church USA (none)
Of which I am a member is actually very liberal.
      •  Whither then... (none)
your southern bretheren and their ilk, the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America)?

Which is closer to Calvinist dogma?

        •  There Are Two Branches (none)
Calvary Orthodox and Presbyterian Church USA. In our town (southern New Jersey) there was a split long before I was born. The two churchs still exist  two blocks apart but we don't like each other very much (very Christian of us, heh). Our church has a lot of outreach programs to help the poor in our community (not all members of the church agree with that BTW) and we have a woman pastor who strives to include our spanish speaking population who are for the most part are not doing too well in terms of making ends meet.

          All in all rather progressive.
