I found this telling on that pollster's web site, after telling us they are basing their sample.

It is simply unrealistic to think Obama can or will win the Keystone State by the same double-digit margin he won by four years ago when you consider that most state and national polls continue to show most voters unhappy with the direction of the country after two straight years of unemployment at 8% or higher.
They just can't believe they are going to lose to Obama, again. Everything going for them; crappy economy, fired up base, dispirited Dems, all kinds of crap going on overseas, candidate from central casting.

And they are still losing. Still losing. They cannot believe that, with all that is going on in this world, the American people - at least the ones that didn't secede 150 years ago - are voting for President Obama. And voting for Democrats. Prefer Democrats.

So let's rationalize our polls to account for our perception of reality.

    2008 was not a fluke. 2012 won't be either.

A society is judged by how well it cares for those in the dawn of life, the children. By how well it cares for those in the twilight of life, the elderly. And, by how well it cares for those on the edge of life; the poor, the sick, and the disabled.
