  •  And yet, (9+ / 0-)

he's 5 years younger than my dad, who doesn't look or sound like that at all. Obviously, people age at different rates. I can only wish that it means evil people age faster.

Mitt's eyes really looked wrong, didn't they? I have no idea what was going on with him -- maybe they slipped him some No-Doz. If someone's never had caffeine, it wouldn't take much. (Heh, maybe they just gave him a cup of the coffee they used to have at the NYU midtown facility where I studied what was then called "computer programming". No problems with a three-hour afternoon lecture on that stuff! It literally made my fingertips vibrate, and I was well-accustomed to coffee.)

    •  That is what I was thinking. (6+ / 0-)

One cup of coffee to a caffeine virgin might do it. He was quite aggressive, too, but I agree with those who say he was deliberately trying to bait Obama into doing something less than Presidential.

      •  Yes, I think that was his strategy, (6+ / 0-)

and even though they juiced him up on Red Bull or whatever, he didn't get what he wanted. I will be interested to see what Obama does now that Mitt has tipped his hand. I can't imagine Mitt's staff has many more tricks, given who they're working with. I still say he's mostly an empty suit, with a serious mean streak that is only occasionally in full view.
