    required reading. Your wise words are appreciated. I remember reading years ago a post on writing diaries that would get attention. It seemed the more extreme you were the better.

    I liked this a lot:

    But it seems to me sometimes to be monolithic, a great seething mass of krill or something with everyone focused on one issue! ;~} But then I see some diary on a novel or birds or Iceland and that drops away.

    Funny you mention MB because he is one of my most favorites here, along with Hunter. Boy, are they different?! Both excellent writers, as are you. Some of your diaries have been very important and exceptional. You are right up there with the best. The fact that you've been strong and passionate in your advocacy is a strength. I respect you three very much.
